History of Landsend Kennels

The 70's and 80's were the humble beginnings of Landsend Kennels. Always family owned and operated, we concentrated on learning about the many different bloodlines of the German Shepherd Dog.

Those early years produced a few obedience titles for our own dogs and some champion pointed progeny. The 90's smiled on us. We bred one solid black champion, Champion Landsend's Tetley Tea Kid, and finished a sable champion BIS Select Champion Plainbrownwrapper v Jada-Edan.

Our most recent champion is Champion Wayside's Brando. He has OFA Excellent hips and has OFA Elbows. He's is a beautiful black and tan and is at stud to approved bitches. However, American and Canadian Champion Rotoba Black Forest Brownhill, TC, OVC is the queen of Landsend. The sister act of Todorhaus Kristal Jeddie and Todorhaus Tabu are currently being shown, as are Fantasy-Landsend Patchaground and Spiritroad of Landsend. Watch for them at a show near you! 

Our puppies are only placed in loving family homes. This may sound strange, since we are in business, but we only have five dogs and ALL are housetrained and love being in our home.
